History of Bible College

March 1953Missionary Coryell from the U.S. opened the school at her home in Kobe.
January 1955Moved to Osaka.
March 195Moved to Beppu and in September, opened Bible School for the Deaf.
November 1957Moved to Totsuka, Yokohama.
February 1960Moved to the present location in Moroyama, Iruma, Saitama, where 300 tsubo(0.245acre) plot of land was given to the school.
February 1966Rev. Coryell’s departure from Japan, the school became independent, discontinued receiving support from overseas and School was closed.
1970School was reopened as Oriental Deaf Christ Bible College as a one-year program. Sent out 6th graduating classes.
1972School was closed.
1973School was reopened as a two-year program.
1992School became a tree-year program.
September 2010Due to deterioration, the church building was rebuilt. Classes begin in the new hall.
2016School was reopened up to the present.
